The new Heart Center at Aria Health - Torresdale Campus includes over 30,000 SF to consolidate the Cardiac Surgery, Cath Labs, EP Labs, and Cardiac Intensive Care Unit. The CT-OR's include space for Endovascular Surgery and include a state-of-the-art video and data system allowing access and communication accessible throughout the Heart Center.
The new Cardiac ICU includes 7 new patient rooms with private bathrooms, flat-screen TVs, and moveable service columns for maximum flexibility. The rooms include ICU doors with electric vision panels, allowing patient privacy with a switch accessible from the alcove nurse stations between each pair of rooms. The new Cath Labs include over 5 new Cath and EP Labs with surgical quality finishes and mechanical systems to allow maximum flexibility and use. The rooms range from 600 SF to almost 1,000 SF and include bi-plane and standard Cath and EP Labs.
